Initial consult

Blood draw

Using a special blood collection tube, Dr. Retzler or her Phlebotomist will draw blood from your arm.

Isolating PRP

We will place a vial of your drawn blood into a special centrifuge for 5–10 minutes to isolate the platelet rich plasma.

PRP injection and application

To ensure maximum penetration, Dr. Retzler will apply PRP injections over the entire scalp, injecting it into key areas, such as at the hairline.

Maintenance

PRP injection therapies are performed once a month for 3 months with a repeat treatment 3 months following the third treatment (totaling 4 treatments). Follow up will depend on results.
